Vincent van Gogh painted The Good Samaritan shortly before he died, while struggling with mental illness at an asylum. He uses his unique style to bring Jesus' parable to life.

Was he showing appreciation to those who had helped him in his pain?

Or, was he encouraging us to be kind to others? 💚

I am having a good food day. Salmon glazed with a tangy BBQ sauce.

I wonder if this lunch will undo the damage my fast food breakfast did this morning. This simple salad has grapefruit, walnuts, and homemade Italian herb dressing over a bed of mixed greens.

Definitely a great shot. I had the privilege of seeing a wolf this summer in Colorado, but only had my cell phone to get this pic before he darted away.

In 2008, I had a vision of a blue butterfly 🦋. It had nothing to do with politics or social media. It was a sign from God to encourage my wife and me regarding a chronic illness that took my daughter's life. You can read this amazing story at www.lifelynx.net Click the blue butterfly at the top.

It looks like I am working from home again today. Still snowed in. I am thankful for the flexibility I have with my job. It is beautiful, isn't it?

I love tea. This is my favorite new gift. It is from my future daughter-in-law. This is a blooming white tea with orange lilly.

Today is the 7 year anniversary of my mother's departure from this earth. I really miss here this time of the year. She left me with an awesome example of what it means to be a strong woman who was unselfish, fun, loving, and strong in her faith.

Isaiah 9:2
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

Years ago, I painted this as acrylic on canvas, then tweaked it digitally, then turned it into an NFT and sold it!
