I honestly don’t understand why this style of overstuffed cheesesteak is so popular right now. It’s virtually impossible to bite into, and there’s enough beef to feed 8 people. And don’t even get me started on the filling to bread ratio.

This meme has been going around, and every time I see it, I think that if someone from #WineSky created it, the wine guy’s response would be “AHCTUALLY, that wine isn’t going to create the correct pairing.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I do truly feel that there’s something special about the script of Italian chalkboard menus. It would be cool if there was a font that approximated this… anyone ever seen one? 🤔

Speaking of absolutely idiotic #ux decisions in Windows, I found this in the help menu. Why isn’t there also a link to go there on THIS device???

(*Yes I was researching connection issues but the connection was still available, if spotty, at the time.)

Just finished rereading Mr. Penumbra, and while it is still a great book, one thing that struck me in particular as amazingly dated for only being a decade old: the optimism towards Google.

Yes, there’s satire there, and certainly the concept that tech cannot solve everything is covered. ⬇️
