These resources are free to use, but do cost money. That money has been severely cut in many places.

Please use your librarians, but also advocate for them and their funding.

BREAKING — The DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties is being eliminated entirely via Reduction in Force (RIF), an agency source tells me. Staff have not been given reassignment options. Functions of the office will supposedly be assigned to other offices.

While this EO cannot actually close the Department of Education (only Congress can), it can wind down important programs that are critical to disabled students, civil rights cases, funding for disadvantaged schools, and data collection/research on best practices.
