After hearing Bishop @mariannbudde.bsky.social speak at the inaugural prayer service in January, I put this book in hold at my public library. It took a few months as it was quite popular. A timely read that has been especially helpful to me! Highly recommend!

Go read or listen to this book. Written in 2018 it’s even more scary to listen to now but so informative. Albright goes in-depth into each fascist leader of the 20-21st century. I love that she narrates the audiobook. Wish we could have some of her experience and wisdom right now.

Love rule number 9 from On Tyranny - read books. This little book by Timothy Snyder is a great one to start with. It’s also available as graphic novel. ✊🏾📖

This book, Freckleface Strawberry by @juliannemoore is on the DoD banned books list. So I put it on hold at my public library. It is an amazing book. I have no idea how it ended up on a banned list, but alas, this is how censorship goes.

Tonight at our Girl Scout meeting we tried all the cookies. Thin mints is still my favorite. And I don’t like Samoas or Dosidos. Also I liked my Lemon-ups message. Because I AM gutsy!!

I’ve been dressing like Girl Scout cookies because it’s Girl Scout cookie season and that’s a totally normal thing to do. 😆🤷🏼♀️ Today it’s the trefoil - the iconic shortbread cookie that has been around longer than any of the other cookies!
