Unknown and ungovernable
@nicholaskaufmann.bsky.social and I visited the newly opened @therippedbodice location in Brooklyn. It was SO BIG. 😉 Also super busy and packed with customers. Great selection of books! And teas, chocolates, stickers, bookmarks, t-shirts, totes, etc. I can't wait to make a return visit.

"These vampire capitalists currently have a chokehold on the digital catalogs of the public library systems of North America." Not to mention KKR's very recent purchase of S&S. Public libraries are under attack from so many fronts. Authors, readers, publishers will all struggle with the fallout.

"The Vessel shows us how bad the vampiric ultra-wealthy are at making public space"
