My Christmas present to myself arrived! To celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, Abacus Books in the UK released a special edition of the novel. In February, I will be reading The Secret History for the 32nd time, while hoping 2024 brings news of a new book.

Farrokh is a ridiculous sleeper. He cost me several nights sleep and $$$ in calls to animal poison control last week because he ate a small piece of duct tape. But I'm glad he at least gets his rest.
