To all the republicans against “free government handouts”, go fuck yourself. These programs work and actually generate a ROI. And You can’t privatize something like this because low income families can’t afford childcare up front. How can anyone be against this???

Tariffs are a regressive tax. The lower income you have, the more the tariffs will affect you.
Experts say annual consumer costs will increase between $1,600 and $2,000.
$1,600 is a lot to a family making $40k/yr
Let’s not forget that 30% of the US already lives paycheck to paycheck….

Shame on Senator Slotkin and all Dems who voted for the Laken Riley Act. Just to appeal to people uneducated on the issue? Getting ACCUSED of shoplifting should by no means justify getting deported while you wait for your visa to get approved. It should’ve been an opportunity to educate the public.

Adam Gray is only winning by 187 votes… Think about 187 votes out of 105,554…. That means for every 564 Dem voters, they only need to convince ONE person to vote dem… and those seats can make all the difference for legislation to pass/not pass at the federal level. Spread the importance!

When I say that the right is dominating the left on almost all platforms, this is what I mean. I hope Democratic officials take this into account every day. If you want an ecosystem that will advocate for YOU, then YOU need to help build it. Give interviews to creators, break news with creators...

“Better for the economy”
“Better for public education”
“Other countries will not walk all over us anymore”
“Better for the border”
All of these are EASILY refutable. It’s important to keep open dialogue so we can educate them.
