You are entirely right but I just feel entirely helpless to build on this knowledge that such awful people can shape our lives. We know this but what do we do with that knowledge? Heartbreaking.

Absolutely right. These are serious, responsible journalists with years of expertise and experience behind their observations. They weigh up the impact of their comments carefully. They put the likes of Mason and Kuenssberg to shame.
