🚨 Together with 17 civil society organisations, Liberties is calling on Google & Meta to uphold their duty to protect democracy in Europe.

Both companies plan to stop carrying political, electoral & likely “social issue” ads in Oct 2025, when the #TTPA enters into force.

The European Court of Human Rights, @echr.coe.int, in Strasbourg ruled on Tuesday that #Bulgaria had failed to investigate graphic threats made on #Facebook against three human rights activists, including Krassimir Kanev, president of the board at @liberties.eu.
