I used to think that when global warming truly began to bite, deniers would face reality & we could act. Now I think it's more likely it will lead to a kind of fascism that will respond to global warming by, like, executing everyone who says global warming is real.

The local newspaper in my town is discontinuing because “minimum wage increases have made it difficult for small business to serve their customers.”

This is a strange way of saying,“Our broken system requires small businesses to pay poverty wages in order to have a chance of even existing.”

When a liberal area suffers a climate change disaster, Republicans say “God is punishing them.”

When a conservative area suffers a climate change disaster, Republicans say “Democrats control weather machines.”

Must be hard going through life as a full-blown idiot.

For those of us born in the 90s it’s been WILD watching the same people who told us when we were young to be careful on the internet and not believe everything we read online elect the 🍊💩 twice because they weren’t careful on the internet and believed everything they read online

The fact that the January 6th insurrection was downplayed and normalized to the point that the country willingly elected the man who orchestrated it to rule over us will forever be one of the all time greatest failures of this nation.

Health Insurance is a scam and we all know it. But getting rid of it by implementing government funded universal health care would apparently make us evil Socialists. So I guess we’ll all just keep living in fear of dying/going bankrupt from treatable illness since there’s no suitable alternative. 🫠
