A lovely evening at Beth Shalom for a Kristallnacht commemoration with Bonny Reichert, and her memoir, How to Share an Egg, with @senatorpaulasimons.bsky.social. Food is the key to Bonny's life story, including growing up in Edmonton, and her father Saul Reichert's story of surviving the Holocaust.

Happy Alberta Book Day! That is, books published in Alberta by Alberta-based publishers. It ain't easy, so kudos to them. And kudos to books published by Alberta authors and Alberta-set books too. I did a bike ride in Edmonton as an homage to them all. @abbookpub.bsky.social

I didn't so much heckle as groan and guffaw at Smith's blatant lies and absolute bullshit. Many of us laughed when she opened the event with this whopper: "When Edmonton speaks, we listen”.
