I don’t think that’s true? Excercising your rights isn’t a defacto unalloyed good, you still have moral responsibilities associated with your rights. Like, you have a legal right to arbitrarily verbally abuse people; doing that would be taking advantage of your right.

Then your argument is a non-sequitor to what I said. I’m asking you if you think drug control laws prevent people from having having access to drugs, and if they do, why they wouldn’t do the same for guns. If they don’t, why should they exist?
