It's an honest connection, one SH never had the luxury of forming before, and it draws her immediately closer to Astra 💙

But moments like Astra admitting something so vulnerable affect SH so deeply because it shows Astra isn't even considering playing games, or that SH could have truly malicious intent. It speaks to the part of SH beneath the Sharran mask, beyond the usual walls and suspicion that she'd always needed

And yes, Shadowheart is Astra's first kiss! Astra almost accidentally lets that slip afterwards, embarrassed to actually have to admit that. SH doesn't think for a moment to tease or anything however, surprised at how touched she feels that Astra would take such a huge step with/because of her! 💙
