Still finding myself thinking about this - From the start, SH is instinctively looking for weaknesses and ways to manipulate Astra to better her own odds of survival + finishing the mission. She sees her insecurity, desire to be 'useful', and SH sees an opening to fall back into familiar tactics 1/3
And yes, Shadowheart is Astra's first kiss! Astra almost accidentally lets that slip afterwards, embarrassed to actually have to admit that. SH doesn't think for a moment to tease or anything however, surprised at how touched she feels that Astra would take such a huge step with/because of her! 💙
