We have now officially reached the point in the election where All of MPLS supporters are calling for Elliott Payne and Jason Chavez to be deported.

Has voted from Ward 3 since 2017, constantly talks about how bad the Ward and city is, and then won’t respond to voter guides. It’s clear Brian Strahan has no respect for Ward 1 residents. sahanjournal.com/democracy-po...

This was also a point of contention in the thread.

Brian Strahan supporters are making the case on the I Love NE FB group (the bad one) to vote for Brian because he’s liked by republicans. When the person initially making this point tried to then distance it from saying Trump supporters like him, the Trump supporting moderator confirmed it.

Just delivered a sign for someone who requested it because their landlord put up a Strahan sign. This shows the choice we have this election.

Elect someone who fights for renters who actually live here, or elect someone that voted in Ward 3 in January 2025 that’s having landlords put up his signs.

I’ve been getting her emails even though I never signed up and don’t live in Ward 12. What strikes me every time I read them is that she lists her campaign address as her Northside address. This email is from 9/12, after she filed an *affidavit* of candidacy that she lives W12

What makes thing worse is that publicly available property information has shown the whole time that he has homesteaded his Ward 3 home. So even if somehow he was truly living in his Ward 1 home, he’d just be committing more fraud.

In the Strib voter guide Brian Strahan says his neighborhood is Logan Park. Close, but not quite. His Ward 3 home where he has voted from as recently as January of this year is Sheridan neighborhood. The duplex his wife owns in Ward 1 is Windom Park. Lying so much he can’t get his story straight.

At a time when the right is calling for homeless people to be euthanized, I’m not sure how this statement can be made with a clear conscience. The city’s response to homelessness is inhumane and a massive failure.

They can take away the DFL endorsement, but can’t take away us. It’s going to take all of us working hard hitting the doors this fall to get a new Mayor.

Come to my fundraiser for @elliottpayne.org tomorrow from 6-8 PM and learn how to get involved in Ward 1 and make a difference this election.

Don’t forget that Jacob Frey used to love the DFL endorsement process back when it suited him. He wouldn’t be here without getting the DFL endorsement over Ward 3 Council Member Diane Hofstede in 2013. He used to campaign on it all the time back then! That’s why he worked so hard to take it away.

I want to particularly point out the significance of my Rep. Sydney Jordan signing on. She is the former field director for Frey and worked with his current Comms staff Darwin Forsyth. Mike McCool said she was Frey’s first hire on his first Mayoral campaign.

Statement from a wide range of Minneapolis elected officials condemning 28 DFL insiders taking away the DFL endorsement from @omarfatehmn.com

Many of these elected officials haven’t even endorsed him, but they know how wrong this is and how bad this is for the DFL in Minneapolis.

No matter what the DFL tries to say, remember that this happened. Multiple progressive campaigns spent months organizing and beat Frey so bad he staged a failed walk out and subsequently had to manipulate the state party into overturning the clear result. This can happen again in November.

They can take away the DFL endorsement, but they can’t take away *us*. Time to get involved ON THE DOORS to turn out the vote where you live. I’m hosting a fundraiser in Ward 1 for @elliottpayne.org this Monday come by and learn how to get involved in Ward 1. We can still win if we out-work them.

I’m having a fundraiser on my birthday 8/25 to support @elliottpayne.org! Come support our City Council President and ensure that Ward 1 continues to be represented by actual Ward 1 residents.

If you can’t make it, you can still donate: secure.actblue.com/donate/neigh...

If you’re curious why the media is so often biased towards Frey, just look at his press release VS the actual executive summary of the audit. Often media will just regurgitate press releases instead of actually doing the work.
