Táim ag dul trí liosta antoisceach agus táim tar éis bacadh iad. Tá na daoine seo go hiomlán craiceáilte.

people who use goodreads: jeff bezos owns goodreads and if you want a better alternative there is a black woman owned company called storygraph that you can use to replace it. you can transfer all of your data from goodreads to storygraph and have your mind be free of trumpie jeff bezos! win win. 💙

Unsure if she has a bluesky, but I picked up Lies by Doireann Ní Ghríofa, a book of Irish language poetry with English translations from the library on a whim. She's my new favorite poet.

Took my time to reorient myself and work on getting my health back in order. Will still probably use Irish to obfuscate certain opinions in case they get cracked down on and to avoid weirdoes.

Tá ar intinn agam sos a ghlacadh ón meáin shóisialta. Táim... an-an-traochta, ach feicfidh mé ar ball sibh.

The classic move from 20th century organizing (specifically Food not Bombs, but definitely not invented by them) once you've identified who the likely LEO is in your group:

Talk face-to-face without them, give them all the worst jobs to do, and make sure that they're the one paying for gas.

You. Yes you. Stop scrolling. Listen to me for a second.

You're going to be okay. Tomorrow's another day and no matter what happens, the best thing you can do is keep on going.

The world is better because you're in it and don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise.

Autistic meltdowns are not choices or behavior, but the nervous system vomiting, an overload of sensory/emotional hell that has passed a point of regulation.

Care for someone after a meltdown like you would a seizure. Give time, space, and comfort.

Do NOT blame or guilt.
We already feel terrible.
