They’re already the ones responsible for the performances too! They’re effectively recasts without even getting to take full ownership over their own performances.

Like…why even bother to put a CGI skin of Harrison Ford over Anthony Ingruber as Indiana Jones when he already looks just like him?! 🤦‍♂️

The ironic piece to this deepfake shenanigans is that the stand in performers for these legacy characters already have to resemble the original actors for the technology to even remotely work…so, really, a decent hair/makeup job would be less jarring and more believable! And less expensive!
