I'm a postdoc fellow at Teagasc Forestry Department, Ireland. I hold a PhD in forest genetics at the University of Oxford, UK. BSc in Forestry Engineering and MSc in Agroforestry Biotechnology at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.

Rejection is the norm: During the summer I had two unsuccessful fellowship applications.
Writing up another one and looking for postdocs as plan B…. I still put all my hopes and can’t help but imagine myself in the positions I apply to!
