📚 Banned Books Week 📚 I believe in free speech. I believe in access to ideas, even (and especially) the uncomfortable ones. Books challenge us, teach us, reflect us, and sometimes even save us. Each year, I'm reminded how many important stories are being pulled from shelves, often for reasons that say more about fear than about the content itself. I post in honor of my dear friend Kristen, an avid reader, a champion of intellectual freedom, and someone who never backed down from a hard conversation. Let’s read widely. Let’s think deeply. Let’s keep turning pages that others would rather keep closed.
