Many people are losing their federal funding. It’s unfortunate. I am sure many people who voted for this administration will be without a job, or their child will be without an education, or some service they need will be unavailable.

We appreciate you efforts for the community and for the youth. I want to send love out to the medical staff this is hurting. I want to send love out to all the youth and their support teams. We need to ban together during these times. Find your community.

This will not be an immediate stopping of medical care for minors. It allows time for the medical team to work with the youth until Dec 31, 2025 to get them off of the care. I want to thank all the advocates and allies that fought this bill.

Yesterday the Kansas House and Senate voted to override Kansas Governor Laura Kelly's veto of SB 63, a bill to ban Lifesaving Medical Care for LGBTQIA+ Youth. It will become law in the next couple of weeks. I am sure there are folks already working on a lawsuit to stall this in court.

If you care about trans rights, now would be the time to call your conservative democratic senators (or any democratic senator for that matter) and tell them to filibuster Speaker Johnson’s title IX trans discrimination bill.

They used to hide their hate until they Made America Great Again! NOW they can hate Openly Again like the good ole days.

Be vigilant and find community.

Who is going into 2025 scared of being shot? School kids or CEOs? I’m just standing back and watching the news to see. I’m hoping the future makes better choices than the past.

Simple signs of allyship go a long way in proving safe and affirming health care. Just a simple flag pin. Or adding pronouns to your name tag. These signs show us you are a safe person.

But when are they going to fix the economy? Is that after attacking trans people more? I’m confused?
I think what is really jarring about the capitol bathroom ban, is that DC is one of the most trans-inclusive cities in the world. It has the highest trans population in the United States.

Every business is trans friendly in bathrooms.

McBride can use the women's bathroom anywhere BUT the capitol.

Who you surround yourself with is important. If you want to succeed, you surround yourself with successful people. If you want to join the circus, you surround yourself with clowns.

I was asked the other day, “Do you really think they are going to go after trans people?”
I replied, “They got two laws passed in Kansas two years ago! This is not an IF situation.”
