Today, we mourn the loss of Michael Seltzer, Funders for LGBTQ Issues co-founder and a transformative leader in LGBTQ and AIDS advocacy. Michael has left an incredible legacy and a mark on organizations like Lambda Legal, Funders Concerned About AIDS, New York’s LGBT Community Center, and more.
Last month, we hosted a conversation alongside @gcir.bsky.social on how philanthropy can support trans immigrants. Our board Member, Aldita Amaru Gallardo, moderated the conversation, bringing her personal and professional experience and urging funders to trust trans leadership.
