There's a reason why Pepper is nicknamed 'Cheeky Chops', but this is a new low even for her. Trying to chase cats from window to window in different rooms and jumping on top of the doorframe or coat rack is one thing, but now she's trying to grab the postie's hand!

Hopefully, this international break will give Isak a chance to get back to getting match-ready to play again. If he can get a few minutes during the 2nd Sweden match in this break, at least Slot can give him 30 minutes or so during the Burnley game in the 2nd half for a run out.

End of Summer.
The weather finally seems to be normalising out now, so seasonal change seems to be on the horizon.
Here's a picture of my Mother's petunias that I took the other day. This summer has been good for the flowers, at least - even if it was far too hot at times for me!

I tried to keep it together last night during YNWA & the mosaic tribute (the volunteers did a great job!), but Mo Salah on his own at the end of the game, clapping along with the supporters singing Diogo's song until he started tearing up was such a powerful moment. It wasn't just about the win 😭💔

If we can't get a CB or another striker in this transfer window, Slot might need to look at an alternative lineup, but even then, it leads to questions regarding backups & if some of these players leave in the meantime. I mean, it's very messy even if we took a non conventional formation approach...

Good luck and all the best, Darwin. You crazy guy! This will always be one of my favourite moments of Nunez outside the times he's saved us with goal. The fact he was 'injured' too. I remember at the time saying, "Nunez doesn't look that injured hurdling and running like that!" 😆 #LFC

I think it's more so prominent today as Brum & Heavy Metal lost their Prince of Darkness

Yesterday was the hardest football match I've ever watched.
Our lads did so well getting through that. It was just as hard on them, too.

With Quansah, although he made a few costly mistakes in games during last season, I wish Slot would have had more patience with him playing week in, week out. It's good we have the buy-back clause, but a loan might have been cheaper if he proves himself at Leverkusen, which I reckon he will! #LFC
