I’d like to see Chiesa for Cody midweek. JG showed Arne something today.
And Wirtz is the focal point now. He has to be. He’ll bring Isak up with him and suddenly the money will make more sense.
Around Wirtz, there needs to be that system to elevate him.

Optimum Mo at the moment, or from now on, is being able to play like he wants to for an optimum time. That’s not 90 mins, for me.

I can’t help but think Ekitike and Chiesa makes that issue better though.

Just being chatting about aggression. Won’t necessarily get it from Joe but you at least know when the other two are on there’s some hunting getting done.
And the longer they stay on the sidelines the less impact they’re going to be able to have when needed. Seems obvious to me. Probably not.

Think I’m doing Alexis a disservice but could be wrong - it’s a blur. He’s still not his best but I don’t think I remember there being any lack of trying to win the ball back and get himself around.
Again, one of the few I can remember looking into the crowd at the end and facing it.

I don’t want Arne gone, I don’t think we need an overhaul - but we do need more: more from a lot of boys on the pitch, more from the coaching staff and Arne. More intent, more commitment to scoring that goal and to intimidating teams.

I don’t want Arne gone, I don’t think we need an overhaul - but we do need more: more from a lot of boys on the pitch, more from the coaching staff and Arne. More intent, more commitment to scoring that goal and to intimidating teams.
