I’m terrible for sentimentality with players. Very self-aware but that has done little to stop me struggling to think with pure practicality…

There was a lot to dislike but the biggest groans in the crowd yesterday were in response to the lack of intent/commitment.

Any analysis of #LFC this season that doesn’t talk about the impact of losing Jota on the team shouldn’t be taken seriously. We can all be frustrated with them for losing matches, but the death of one of their mates in such utterly horrific circumstances looms large over every single performance.

Penalty save should have been a wake-up call, galvanised them. Too many them look way too leggy.
