Getting to a place where you can find an AppView, view the XRPC methods it exposes, read the docs for the records that it has schemas for, and make authenticated API calls against the services. This is what I wanted a year and a half ago. #ATProtocol
📣 Using AppViews and developing against them is a little bit easier now!

Lexicon Garden supports service methods and URL templates! This makes it easy to document and broadcast what endpoints you have, what Lexicon methods are provided, and the URLs that can be crafted. #ATProtocol #Lexicon

📣 Creating lexicon schema examples is a little bit easier now!

When viewing a lexicon schema that you own, you can create examples of the lexicon with just two clicks. Visit the lexicon schema page and jump to the example section. #ATProtocol #Documentation #Lexicon

📣 Validating procedures and queries is just a little bit easier now!

From a lexicon page, you can validate XRPC procedure and query definitions!

Under the hood this uses the same /xrpc/com.atproto.lexicon.validate endpoint as lexicon.garden/validate

From a lexicon page, you can validate the lexicon schema with or without its dependencies, as well as user-supplied records.

Today we're releasing lexicon management and validation features. Create, update, and delete lexicons and optionally use a subdomain under lexicon.garden to instantly take advantage of lexicon resolution. Validation gives quick turn-around on changes and confidence you're on the right path.

One barrier to entry in developing applications is to get your hands on a lexicon and experiment. This playground will make it easier for developers to jump right in and get their hands dirty without a ton of overhead like setting up an application or forking libraries.
The long term vision for @lexicon.garden isn't to be a read-only index of lexicons, but a fully-featured interactive playground and development platform.

We're one step closer to realizing that vision with the release of "Try It" and authenticated XRPC calls. #ATProtocol

What exactly is the lexicon graph? Every lexicon page shows how that schema connects to others. This includes which types it references and which types reference it. #ATProtocol

I built @lexicon.garden , a discovery platform for ATProtocol lexicon schemas. If you've ever hunted through repos or old posts trying to find schema definitions and documentation, this is for you. #ATProtocol
