Progressives need to recognize that no matter how much the CA Democratic Party postures as progressive, they will always be willing cockholsters for big tech, big ag, and big pharma.

Institutions will not save us. Educators and creatives must organize and be willing to fight a long fight.

Change rarely comes from within entrenched institutions, because in order to obtain power and influence within those institutions, one must make compromises with the existing holders of that influence. By the time one has the power to change something, they are dependent on the status quo.

Stop playing these goddamn games with them on social media. Organize an active, effective resistance against these fascists or make room for those who will. Temperance is not a virtue in the fight against fascism. Democracy must precede 'rule of law,' because they sure as hell don't respect either.
