This is Cauliflower. She suffered a near fatal dog attack that left her with infected, necrotic puncture wounds, and required emergency surgery. On Friday, our email community fully covered her enormous hospital bill! Now she's bravely healing in foster care. Pupdates to come ❤️‍🩹

Meet Darlin. While in foster care, her eye became red and painful. An exam revealed a large ulceration, and to live comfortably, the eye would need to be removed. Despite everything, Darlin’s spirit shined and captured the hearts of two wonderful humans who adopted her. ❤️‍🩹

Waah here it is! I finally get to show you a sneak peak of my piece for the @tazbalancezine.bsky.social!!! I am so so happy to have been able to be part of this project, and so excited for everyone to be able to see it! I am very proud of this one, so please look forward to release day!

Lucretia could count at the very least five off the top of her head. If she started thinking too hard about it, about the more… ontological aspects, it made her head hurt; the nature of the soul was not something she was ever interested in or prepared to analyze in depth. Where it goes after death, however, had taken on a much more practical application to all of them during the century. Something not many people ever have the chance to think of is the fate of souls across the planescape. When you travel from one planar system to another, just as the Prime Material Plane is shaped and populated in infinitely dissimilar ways, the same is true of the Astral Plane. The “disembodied spirit” thing was not new, but it did raise the question of what awaited her beyond the shroud. She remained sat down, thinking about all the possibilities, about what her previous deaths had brought. About the one time she almost faded into non-existence. “Has anyone ever told you you’re the world’s most boring ghost?”
