Since chain axe is also a popular weapon of choice for the Orchis in LancerRPG.

It's a proper robot. I just haven't got around to use all those extra PWM pins yet

Filling the shelf.

None of these stuff are bought. A result of my overly active imagination

I am having a dilemma.

I am runing out of my electronic parts to build robots. I want to build a lot more but it seems that I have to cannibalize the old to buid the new

I guess I can put the older parts in a project box or something...

The chasis is widened considerably to make room for the spider tank's face and arms. The exibition may be over but my development continues.

Ad hoc guard rail is added to protect the PCB board. It is unlikely that a robot with this kind of COG will tip over but better be safe than sorry. Afterall, visitor of all kinds will be driving it.

Had to redesing the legs. The traction needed to turn the robot was... overly optimistic. The spherical wheels worked, they just need to be inverted when running on 4 legs instead of 3.

Control Software and articulation are fantastic. No need to change anything.

Pointy Boi now anatomically completed

Spiky boi got his arms. I told the client that we are approaching Super Robot sensibilities, as in, the parts are getting bulky and spiky to the point that it may interfere with posing.

One can't cheat too much with physical model so there will be changes along the way.

I am at a temporary impasse.

I have done all I could in my head. Either this thing will have enough traction to move a 1kg robot or it won't.

It wouldn't be the first time I made a robot that won't even skid on a flat ground. The only thing left now is to print out and test.

I can probably recycle this concept for the Tachikoma's leg z axis movement.

Ideally I shouldn't put the puny micro servo on the leg joint directly like that but I don't want to work with coded motor yet. It should be fine as long as I don't drive it into rough terrains.
