And the lack of international concertation. The west invested heavily on 2 corporations, while there were many other available in the world. A pandemic policy that went narrow colonial mindset... when all the vaccines should have been delivered globally.

Shoutout to @deathpanel.bsky.social for stating how Biden treated COVID as an economic and PR issue. And to @sharpflower.bsky.social and @everythingisph.bsky.social for describing what traditional public health actually looks like /4

Some groups of people were already viewed as disposable and Labor helped expand this definition by treating COVID as an economic issue to solve, not a public health issue. A single COVID infection can cause long-term health problems for anyone and they won't care as long as the economy is fine. /3

We don't know how many people could actually be diagnosed with these conditions because they're so stigmatised in society. And like there will often be far more people with these conditions because getting a diagnosis is incredibly hard. /2

I hate how they always claim shit like there's "too many" people getting Autism or ADHD diagnoses (or discovering they're trans too). Our society is learning that Autism and ADHD can often look different in anyone who's not a cis white boy or man /1
