Huge thanks to @basw-uk.bsky.social for having us along to share our workshop on 'Community Orientated Practice Makes a Difference'. We appreciated having one of our parents come along to contribute to our presentation! Lived experience is so powerful ❤️
Drawing on their experience working with families, Caroline McDonald (Co-Chair of the SASW Committee), her colleague Lorena Noto, and a mother they support came together to share powerful insights on how community can—and should—be at the heart of social work practice at #BASWConf25
