Reasons To Stay Alive is a book by Matt Haig. It's a simple white background with the title and author in black in large, slim, comforting letters. The final E of alive turns into a multi-coloured ribbon that loops twice before disappearing off the page.

Everyone on this Train is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson. It's just as funny and unputdownable as the first book. I'll be done in the next hour and both sorry I read it all in one go and glad I did.

I found a photo of my TBR in 2015 and it's bad news. Not only is my current TBR at least 4x as big, but about 50% of my 2015 TBR is still on my 2024 TBR.

The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists by Robert Tressell is a thick book with a light purple ground on which a man stands in white coveralls holding a paint can. Also on the cover is three paint cans from a birds eye view angle showing red, yellow and teal paint. The book has two stickers one says the book is one of the Guardians top 50. The others is a discount price for the charity Cancer Research UK.

Day 4
It's a beautiful gold, white and dark blue hardback of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. It shows snow in the bottom quarter, topped by a first class dining carriage of a steam train and the remaining 2/3rd is dark blue sky with heavy snowflakes. There is a beautiful pattern around the edge.

Day 1.
A copy of the book, I know this much is true by Wally Lamb lies on a wooden background. I am starting a new job in the new year. It's a big deal (for me) & I am preparing hard! At the recommendation of a friend who is an organisational psychologist, I ordered The First 90 Days by Michael D Watkins from @bertsbooks.bsky.social. The customary ribbon made it feel even more special.
The teal coloured copy of international bestseller, The First 90 Days by Michael D. Watkins in tied in a sky blue ribbon with a bow in the centre. It's resting on a ribbed sea green fabric which is my foot stool but you can't tell that from the picture as you can't see the edges or depth.

Currently reading Shakespeare: The Man Who Pays The Rent by Judi Dench. With Rainy Days and Mondays by The Carpenters on Spotify. I like the song but disagree with the vibe as I happen to love rainy days. Lots of puddles to jump in. 🌧🌧
