You can take the button pieces and shell off the broken controller and put it on any other controller of the same generation. It’s surprisingly simple and a basic computer repair tool set has the right bits and tools. If it’s just the stick/board inside that’s borked, the other parts should be fine.

Honestly, I just followed what it said and did it in regular old Vanguard strikes and had a BLAST. I'm so sick of Portal forcing me to play only GM content ALL THE TIME if I want even a crumb of progression. I miss just blasting through strikes and having fun with random builds and not having champs
