However, confoundingly, from a statistical POV my writing more closely resembles @chrisbohjalian.bsky.social's work than it does that of my own identical twin. Conversely his work more closely resembles @scalzi.com's work than it does mine. SEPARATED AT BIRTH?!

If I'm reading this correctly, my writing is more likely to be misidentified as my brother's than his writing is likely to be misidentified as mine. MAKE OF THAT WHAT YOU WILL

My first picture book is coming out next year! I’ve been working on it for a truly absurd amount of time.

A tale of two paperbacks. Note the cheeky green of the UK version (late June), which I love, and also how thin the US version (July) is! I asked Viking if they would use slightly thinner paper for the paperback, because I thought the big hardcover was a bit intimidating.

I finally spotted the iconic Australian wobbegong shark!
Though if I'd RTFM beforehand I wouldn't have got quite so close. Turns out wobbegongs are a bit bitey. But it was all fine.
(This is not my photo, it's from Wikipedia. But it did look a lot like that.)
