I kept reading about racehorses that have guts twisted and need procedures so I wondered why it happened so often...

im not here to offer something i want to get something (love) so its more like a gun to my head saying "youll never be loved if you quit"
a related question for writers and aspiring writers: how do you convince (or remind) yourself that you have something to offer when the world is so full of other art already and the big problem seems to be getting it to the right readers?
there are so many books to read....i have a billion of them yet keep wanting and buying more....
