We may or may not be open today, Meatketeers. We're experiencing technical difficulties.

Watch this space and I'll keep everybody posted if we managed to cobble everything back together.

Samuel Beckett wrote of Joyce's Finnegan's Wake, something very like, "if you do not like it, you are not pure enough to receive it."

I've listened to folks dissing turkey all month.

What tedium, as Sam B would say. It's delicious.

Not trying to drag anyone at all, but you guys?

We are open 11 until 2 PM today, and right now it's just me and larry here. Come visit. Buy some discounted turkey bits.

Maybe even buy my emotional support pork neck bone.

I apparently cooked (and supposedly ate) this at some point this week.

Your friendly neighborhood meat mongers are tiiiired, y'all. I'm so damn glad Thanksgiving is almost over and there are no more holidays to endure until next year. We really dodged a bullet, eh?

Sausages!

We will likely NOT be doing sausage next week, folks, though we will be selling uncased sage sausage out of the freezer for breakfast, dressing, or what have you.

Sausage supplies runnning low, so we made a small batch of Chinese Black Garlic Chicken Sausage.
