On Friday night I decided to cycle to Macclesfield & then from Stoke to Birmingham using the canals
It was fun but hard going

The Grand Union Canal is ok not the best tow path but could be made into a great leisure route!

Not only can you see both ends but the train is more than 3 carriages long!

In #Akureyri Iceland all the traffic lights have heart shaped stop lights!
The cars maybe bigger but they always stop before a pedestrian gets to the crossing!

Now I'm all for more cycle lanes but token gestures which don't connect anyway and actually making cycling more dangerous are a waste of money
This is supposedly 2 way & forces cyclists out into a busy road!
