Merci bian des fés ! (Guernsey Norman-French for “Thank you so much”) … especially to everyone who supported me and voted for me in Guernsey’s general election, I am overwhelmed at the support and the confidence this gives me in serving a 6th term in government.
When the opportunity to purchase Leale’s Yard was presented to the former P&R of which I was a Member we had no hesitation in pursuing it. I think the deal announced today represents good VFM & importantly unlocks the site for development after many years of unsuccessful attempts to progress #govgg

Pleased to attend Government House today to witness the investiture of Jo Reeve with the British Empire Medal by HE the Lt Governor. Much of Jo’s public service goes unseen. I’ve been honoured to work with him in External Relations for over 12 years & he has headed up the team for the last 8!

Everyone begins as a child by liking Weather. You learn the art of disliking it as you grow up. Haven’t you ever noticed it on a snowy day? The grown-ups are all going about with long faces, but look at the children—and the dogs? They know what snow’s made for.
