Crystal clear night in Bay Area. It's about 6 miles as the crow flies from here in the East Bay to the Transamerica Pyramid.

Sun is trying to break through the clouds over the Port of Oakland. They have some of the largest loading cranes in the United States. Just started to rain which is always welcome after a dry summer and fall. #Port of Oakland

Sailboat and kites from the Berkeley Kite Festival, sometime in the past, don't remember exactly which year. Whenever I see this, it reminds me of how much fun it is to watch a sky full of brightly colored kites with kids of all ages running around trying to see everything.

A Nearly Normal Family is an intriguing story of a Swedish family in crisis. It tells the story in segments with views from each individual family member. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through and it has kept my attention, which isn't always easy. (first post on BookSky, so fingers crossed) 💙📚
