If you're wondering what late-run O'Sole looks like: you can prance around the stage dropping damage-dealing flowers in your wake.
The flowers have collision and interact with each other, meaning you can fill the screen with massive flowers that bump and jostle each other around.
Vibrant and joyful.

The last time I was in a Best Buy, it was depressingly sterile, and felt more like a storage warehouse than an electronics store in which you try and purchase electronics of electronic nature.

Circuit City and Media Play (anyone remember that one?) didn't die for this.

I would unironically love a shop like that.

No photo in the world is going to convince me to drop $500-800 on one of those admittedly neat newfangled dual-screen devices.
...Trying one out in a shop likely won't convince me either, but it'll at least sate my curiosity as to how those things handle.

Oof, wishing you a playthrough free of mid-boss-battle crashes; that can totally kill momentum.

Looks super cool otherwise! Loving the very PSP/PS Vita art style and interface design. Something about it being designed for a smaller, handheld widescreen gets me feeling nostalgic at the proportions.

Vita JRPGs represent! Good reminder (including to myself!) that tri-Ace is impressively prolific even beyond the Star Ocean franchise.

A little disappointed to hear about the crashes, something that seems to happen a lot on the Vita. I love the console, but its stability...

This being on Vita means I can take screenshots that aren't just me pointing my cellphone camera at the screen. Fancy.

At first it was a passing thought, but it's been on my mind for the last nine hours

It won't leave my brain unless I post about it, even belatedly

My exposure to Veltpunch was their awesome track for LET IT DIE

Even nowadays, my friend and I still reference the song intro because it's so memorable.

Reality being what it is, I suppose I just need to make the most out of making little paper animals. They do bring me some joy, I can say that.

Yeah! There's some classy stuff out there like fancy grinders and gooseneck kettles that I'd love to own one day.

That said, I've been quite satisfied with a set of affordable Hario gear to replace all the stuff I left behind overseas. Gotta leave some room in the budget for my other hobbies!

Definitely!

It's a thoroughly silly game, and yet at times unapologetically earnest. You can tell the creators truly had a passion for Akihabara and everything it stands for in the world of games, anime, and manga.

Ooh, the screencaps look vaguely familiar but I had no idea Doctor Hauzer was actually by the same devs! And just a two-year gap between them, too.

Alone in the OverBlood indeed.

E.Y.Ǝ. MENTIONED 💰🦵🆗

Those personal sidequests are a fun way to motivate searching shops in Japan that I'd usually have no other reason to check out.

One of mine is specialty whole-bean coffee imports at reasonable prices. A vain endeavor but one I can't resist.

Even just watching people talk about that moment, I felt the feels. Took me by surprise, really.

I'd love to give this game a proper visit myself sometime.

I am totally biased but I love Akiba's Trip. I spent so much time playing the PSP original* (Plus) wandering through its miniaturized version of contemporary Akihabara!

For those who crave a digital visit to the otaku capital, Akiba's Trip does a wonderful and faithful job of capturing its magic!

Absolutely. When everything works together in concert, you feel wonderfully empowered to tackle even the worst challenges that the game can throw at you.

It's a big factor as to why I like both Super Bullet Break and Slay the Spire so much!
