That’s what they get for making us ring up our own purchases. Turns out we’re much more willing to give ourselves a five finger discount than a cashier, who knew!

Not explicitly increasing in toxicity, but it does increase potential of exposure. Harmful compounds volatilize and become airborne and can be inhaled, or simply become deposited all over. So you have the same harmful material spread now over a greater area in ways that increase ingestion potential
