I'm too tired to work, too young to die. Someday I'll have rested enough to dance again.
My husband was reading pt 1 on his computer, me pt 2 on mine. He couldn't load pt 2 and alerted me, so I immediately printed to pdf part 2. ... I also hope it gets published elsewhere.

Perhaps this is true. But I and my NIMBY neighbors had the time & resources to fight a huge oil & gas project in populated part of CO. We lost, but along the way the regulators saw some sense and postponed things - 2nd time ever. That is a win. Sometimes NIMBY starts the ball rolling and helps all.

I'm guessing that the US should be the ones to devote the resources to maintain their own base. Am I wrong?

Huh. I'm certain something has been occasionally happening on my Windows. I lose control of my mouse! (It doesn't move on its own; it simply stops responding.)
Google has made it impossible to prevent "3rd party cookies" 'cause they now go into partitions.
I need to switch browsers.

The SAVE act also will require either BC or Passport to vote-- and BC must match current ID, and will not make exceptions even for valid proof of name change.
Could you go to a post office to make the process shorter? And definitely worth the money for expedited processing and trackable mailing.

I'd never thought about an approved, pre-installed, can't uninstall ap screen-scraping everything. I am ashamed I'd been calling myself paranoid.

Definitely do!

Thanks for keeping us informed on this.

People, if you are going to delete, download your data first.
March 25, 2025 at 3:52 AM
It's going under partly because they had to remove good genealogy features after the front-door data steal a few years ago. I had been on the site a few times a week but stopped using it entirely until they announced risk of bankruptcy many months ago. Then I spent weeks screen-grabbing match data.

But it HAS been done, to 23andme! There were front-door data steals (able to be done 'cause people reuse passwords) and they did that to find ppl with Jewish ancestry. Because of that, 23andme turned off many valuable features, which contributed to its downfall.

And presumably not any other DNA testing company. They are all at-risk.
March 25, 2025 at 3:40 AM
Everyone is supposed to read the agreements before sending in the DNA. You are supposed to acknowledge that this sort of thing might happen and that you are still OK with it.
IMO, People who are upset are admitting they can't read.

No, he didn't advise that. He reminded people that they have that right.

The kids were "Whoa! That's legendary!"

He has seen pictures. Were there maple trees outside the window? How could he tell the lab was in Canada?

Any age, really.

I'm pretty sure that one of the kids from bio mom Grimes' eggs was put into a surrogate without Grimes' knowledge. So add one to your count of different women.
