Was reading a series of posts on Medium by aletheisthenes, abt likelihood of military rule, discussing things like persecuting journalists, media control & communication blackouts.
Clicked for the next post and discovered that his account was suspended.
It doesn't feel like irony.
I hope he is OK.

I was just followed by this guy, using the account on the top. He seems very fishy. How do you even find 8.4k accounts to follow? What is he doing with them?
I suspect it is easier to data scrape that way.

IMO, saying "I'm sorry, I didn't vote for him" to a Canadian is like a republican saying "My thoughts and prayers are with you" to the parents of a school shooting victim.
They need to know we are fighting for them.

Some say AI will create the end of the world by taking over missiles (inc'l nuclear) fired between opposing sides and use them to demolish humanity.
But that will be a lot harder if Russia and the US are allies.

Re: my adult child's Medicaid waiver.
The people who do the work get paid minimum wage. The people who manage them don't get paid much more -- turnover is way too high to imply anything else.
So where is the waste? Her? Because she has had the temerity to stay alive?
