Not Ginger Rogers dropping this sick burn about a telegram being read aloud with all those disruptive STOP. moments in Top Hat (1935).

I exhibited superhuman strength when I forwent this miniature tote bag with a resplendent floof on it.

I just found 18 four-leaf clovers and 2 five-leafers in ten minutes. I set a timer! I think this means the universe endorses me as a manic pixie dream hag.

Love when the sidewalk is an archive of a cat passerby of yore
July 9, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Looks like a passerby (I’m assuming) tossed the chalk into the street, and a vehicle (also assuming!) crushed it to dust. My fantasy is that this is a form of reply. Is this what developers mean by “activating local communities”?

Not me being contrary about someone writing STOP HERE in blue sidewalk chalk. I await further correspondence.

My dad is a Vietnam era veteran, so this seems legit to me.

Here it is! They're standing to the far right of this photograph, between the corkscrew slide and the swing set, with the cable car positioned behind them.

March 29, 1964 was Easter Sunday. Perhaps this family in the park to hear Ave Maria and the Hallelujah Chorus in person? I'm curious about the track called Good Friday Spell.

Texted some friends who know Tagalog to figure out the middle name, and my Dad to tell me about the military uniform.

Found this photo on my morning stroll and now I’m going to see what I can uncover about the scene it’s capturing.

If Desert Hearts is a comfort watch then Cries & Whispers is a discomfort watch. I’m pleased by this color scheme. boxd.it/vNvZ

Don’t worry, I also watched Companion and Jamon Jamon.

It’s day ten of me watching Persona (1966) everyday and writing a 114-word blurb on my Letterboxd, and the repetition is getting a bit agonizing.

A dispatch from my busy Persona (1966) watching schedule. Topaz understood the assignment.

Mission accomplished.

Sometimes you have to give in to a strange compulsion that feels like a pleasure and a chore. Yes, I’ll be watching Persona (1966) again today. boxd.it/vNvZ

I’ve never seen a banana slug so far from the sea or the redwoods.

It’s wildflower season (thanks, serpentine soil!) in SSSJ. This 2.6-mile loop is one of my faves for when I only have an hour or two.

We’ve got a quartet of movies featuring British heartthrobs. Yes, Tim Curry is a heartthrob. Also, sad 4 teen me who didn’t see Times Square at my peak riot grrrl. Teen punk poets form tortured gay bonds while throwing TVs off rooftops & decorating glamorous squats?! Hot dog!
