Told my partner about the famous cliff scene dilemma in The Good Son. Their reaction? If she’d done more strength training, she could’ve saved them both.

You probably know that —across the pond—someone put a labubu on Karl Marx’s grave. But did you know in Santa Clara, CA, a mystery human put a walkie-talkie on Tiburcio Vásquez’s grave?

Plus those of my long-dead Californio relations (as usual, on repeat)

Kathy Heideman: The Earth Won't Hold Me

In the most recent episode of The Challenge, Turbo says of Johnny Bananas: “be humble, bitch.” And while I find Turbo’s bluster to be super unpleasant as a rule, I also think I’ve found my new favorite clapback.

Hunting Wives: a Netflix show about how, when a $$$ liberal white woman with an iffy past moves to Texas, she deserts her beliefs to find belonging with pro-life NRA wives and have illicit lesbian sex on boar hunting trips. Then she gets ensnared in a murder plot. The risk puts everyone in heat.

In this post about repetition, I—an extremely lapsed Catholic—explore if walks around a nun’s enclosure are habit-forming.
