I have a bird feeder on my study window and love to watch sparrows. It amazes me that a young bird will sit there and be fed seeds by the parent rather than reach for them itself.

I thought boy dogs were the worst sniffers, but our current girls have turned out to be the slowest sniffy dogs ever as they've got older, so you have that to look forward to 🤣

I was seriously short sighted and wore glasses from the age of 8. Following a fall I rapidly developed a trauma cataract and had it done by the NHS. Then, due to vertigo from the difference between eyes, had to have the other done. Am amazed to wake up every day and see clearly, and oh, the stars 🤩

I decided to join a bandwagon and crochet granny squares for a book blanket. One square for each book read this year in the colours of the cover. I wish I'd decided on reviewing. I write much quicker than I crochet. Also, I read a lot of books with red/black covers 🤷♀️

A small proportion maybe, but it seems to me that there are far more people among us who are actually cut from the same cloth as Fakage. I look about my community and just wonder who they are.

I look around and wonder who's living amongst us too. Recently a local Reform campaigner said there were 60 members in our village of under 1500 households. It makes you wonder.
