I've wanted to go to Little Morton Hall for years. Done it now, and pulled in Speke Hall and Rufford Old Hall in a bit of timber framed tour.

Yes, absolutely. Here are my batch at the sewn and stuffed stage. No faces or wings yet. I am hoping some of my fellow WI members will do that stage and inject some personality into them. They can go under a pillow, or hang on a door handle so as the fairy can avoid waking a child!

Today I will mostly be stitching tooth fairies to go on our WI's tree in the village church Christmas tree festival. These will highlight our current WI Resolution 'Dental Health Matters'.

This was in the 1960s. They were the stereotype Guy Fawkes face, like the V mask, but made from a Papier mache like pressed cardboard in orange, red or purple. Like in this picture. I remember them being sold in the corner shop on our street.
