Rust hasn’t caught on in finance because the performance gain, if any, over other languages doesn’t offset the cost (e.g. cognitive). Hard to find a place when you already have most stuff in C++ or Java.

I’ve found dentists in Japan try to schedule multiple visits for everything. Not sure if it’s just a Tokyo thing but is very annoying.

Yes! I remember when I found these a few years ago and now bring them on every flight! My throat and nose get so dried out without them.
