I remember being in an Evolutionary Anatomy course in 2010 and a T.A. frantically burst into the middle of a lecture and shouted "new human just dropped!" They only had DNA from a finger bone back then.
We now know what Denisovans looked like, thanks to DNA analysis that proved Homo longi (the Harbin cranium) is indeed Denisovan! 🧪🏺
