Hating is easier than liking. Hating gives people endorphins.

And a hate video brings in people who don’t like the movie (to hear someone agree with them) and people who do like it to argue in the comments.

Both bring engagement, engagement is money.

You can’t even filter them with parental controls.

You can block accounts etc from kids but Shorts is a cesspool of content they can’t be kept out of
