Got a new keyboard a couple of days ago. Really loving it! Azerty is taking some time to get used to though. 😂

As a coffee lover that is trying to get less plastic in me, why is there no drip coffee machines that aren’t made of plastic? Like at every price point the machine is still all plastic.

Update to my setup, I added a whole new PC! So now my Linux PC is my main. But it is starting to get crowded on my desk. 😂

Just came from Paris Games Week 2025. Was fun!

There was certainly a change in Xboxes presence. It was all combo with Asus and phones and such. “This is a Xbox.”

Sony was only there with Ghost of Yotai.

Biggest was Capcom and Nintendo. Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, even Pragmata was there.

My partner is a massive game of thrones fan, so I was thinking about getting her a new fantasy book, but not what’s out there, like what is the best of the best right now?

Hey Godot experts! I wonder if there is a good way to do this, I have a base script that has a side UI script, main scene has a scripts that extends base script. When I try to run I get null on this: var tab_container = get_node_or_null("%MainContent")

Why is that?

700 hours! I still haven’t actually done anything on my game, still working on the tools. Incredible how fast the time flies and how slow progress is. But at least I’m having fun!:) #godot #gamedev

Reading the documentation again for #godot and hooo boy do I realise how much I don’t know. No wonder my code is so messy.😱 #gamedev #coding #programming

I was stuck on a programming problem, instead of figuring that out, I will instead try and clean up my code! Ambition: not have any duplicate functions. #coding #programming

I am still very new to game dev, but I was wondering how do people organise their code? I have come to realise that long script files are kind of hell, but one script file for each function doesn’t seem too manageable either? #programming #coding #gamedev #godot

The one thing that kind of shocked me about aging, is how horrible one’s eye sight becomes! As someone who had perfect vision most of my life it’s quite an adjustment.

Seeing everything about the revolution in Nepal, the so called GenZ revolution kind of made me think that yeah, the kids are alright. In less than a week they toppled the corrupt government, voted in a new PM on discord and now cleaning up everything.

Any handy experts here? So whenever I do laundry I dry the blankets on the doors, but it has left these marks that I can’t get off. Why does that happen and what can I do about it?

Steam has stopped counting how much I use Godot, happened to anyone else also? @godotengine
I know it’s not really important, but still fun to see!:)

When coding my blog engine, I really set out to have it as organiser and modular as possible. All admin stuff would go in one file, and so on. Now looking in my activitypub file it’s nearing 900 lines of code, it’s all a jungle again! #coding #programming

Implemented a like and comment system for my blog! Right now it doesn’t handle likes and comments from the fediverse, that’s next and it’s going to be complex!

Here’s a challenge to ethical programmers. I’m trying to implement a like function for my posts on my blog, but don’t want to store IPs, have cookies nor require registrations. How would one prevent likes getting spammed? Meaning one user can only like once?

Then I code for my game I use godots core editor, but for everything else I use vs code, and would love to use something else. What does everyone use for their coding?
